In March 2017 following our successful participation on the TradeIT Project, The Gluten Free Kitchen Company were invited to send in a video pitch to apply to an EU Funded Project to pitch our business plan to the Katana Project who have €10.5 million from the Horizon 2020 fund to invest in European Business Projects.

The Gluten Free Kitchen Company are the only Irish Company to have successfully secured a place on this program and the EU Horizon 2020 Fund have €10.5 million to invest into this project and will be rewarding the top 10 successful projects on the program who reach their target on the crowdfund with a further €100k each plus €20k business services of investment into their businesses.
This is a huge opportunity and we are so thrilled of the opportunity which can only happen with the help and support of YOU by supporting our project by generously donating what you can to our Crowdfund Project. Full Details of how you can do this and what rewards will be available to view from October 1st 2017 when the project goes live.
In July 2017 Doireann Barrett was flown out to Stuttgart Germany to attend a three day Business Bootcamp to officially confirm our participation on this project.
In collaboration with our team Ball & Socket Branding Specialists & Bia Ganbreise Free From Foods, we are working on a very exciting project to officially launch a range of our own food products into Retail and Food Service under The Gluten Free Kitchen Company Brand.
PAC Web TV www.pacwebtv.com will also be working with us to put together our Promotion Video so we are very excited to be working with our consortium on this project.
Our Project is to scale up our business model to phase two of our Three Phase, 5 year plan which began in 2014. Phase Two is to manufacture our food products into food service to reach a wider range of our customers nationwide and overseas.
In order to successfully make this happen there are financial outlays that need to be raised to cover these costs and with our successful pitch last March 2017 to the Katana Project we successfully won one of the 100 places out of 640 applications from all over Europe to allow us to participate on their Crowdfund Platform to make this happen with the added bonus of being in with a chance of winning the further €120K EU Investment into our business which will successfully help us towards phase three of our business plan which is to open Outlets.
Our current Target to fund this phase of the project is €15,000 and we confidently feel this is very achievable but only with the help of our colleagues, friends, families, customers, followers and networks who are willing to support this project by generously backing the project with whatever you can afford to donate.
The project runs from October 1st to December 31st 2017
What we are asking is for all our followers, friends, family and loyal customers to get on board and help us successfully market and achieve this opportunity.
What is Crowdfunding and How does it Work?
Crowdfunding is by definition, “the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet.”
“Instead of traditional investors, crowdfunding campaigns are funded by the general public. Typically, most successful startup fundraising efforts receive about 25-40% of their revenue from their first, second and third degree of connections. This could include friends, family, work acquaintances, or anyone that the owner is connected to, including their second and third degree connections. Once a project has seen some traction, unrelated consumers start coming out of the woodwork to support campaigns they believe in.
There is a huge misconception that creating a successful crowdfunding campaign is as simple as hitting submit and waiting for it to go viral. While this has happened to many brands, the vast majority of projects will require a decent amount of effort on the part of the project creator.” Forbes.com
